Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before accessing or using any website, platform, product, or service operated by How to Job Group Ltd. (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and How to Job Group Ltd.. By creating an account, making a purchase, or using any part of our platform or services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

If you are using our services on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, in which case “you” refers to that organisation.

2. Services

How to Job Group Ltd. operates the How to Job platform, including but not limited to:

  • Howtojob Plus — a career development and job search education platform
  • Rezio — an AI-assisted CV and résumé builder
  • Interviewly — an interview simulation and assessment tool
  • HelloHR — an outreach and networking system
  • 1-on-1 and group coaching programmes
  • Corporate outplacement and workforce transition services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. By using our platform, you represent that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly provide services to individuals under the age of 18.

Access to certain services may be restricted based on geographic location due to legal or regulatory requirements. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of our services complies with any laws applicable in your jurisdiction.

4. Account Registration

Certain services require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us immediately at legal@howtojob.io if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

5. Fees, Payment & Refunds

Certain services are offered on a paid basis. All fees are stated at the point of purchase and are exclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase unless a payment plan has been expressly agreed.

Refund Policy. Due to the nature of digital and coaching services — where access and value is provided immediately upon purchase — all sales are generally final. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact us within 14 days of purchase at legal@howtojob.io with full details of your request.

We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect services already purchased.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, methodologies, tools, software, branding, and documentation made available through our services — including but not limited to course content, templates, scripts, frameworks, and proprietary workflows — are the exclusive intellectual property of How to Job Group Ltd. or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use our materials solely for your personal, non-commercial job search or career development purposes. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, sublicense, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any of our content without our prior written consent.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  • Share, resell, or redistribute our proprietary content or methodologies
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our platform
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems
  • Use automated means to scrape, extract, or harvest data from our platform
  • Post or transmit any content that is abusive, defamatory, or harmful

Breach of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

8. Testimonials & Results

Testimonials, case studies, and stated outcomes featured on our website or marketing materials represent individual results achieved under specific circumstances. They are not a guarantee or promise of similar results.

Career outcomes depend on numerous factors outside our control, including individual effort, market conditions, qualifications, and economic environment. How to Job Group Ltd. makes no guarantee of employment, salary improvement, or career advancement as a result of participation in any programme.

9. Third-Party Services

Our platform may integrate with or link to third-party services, websites, or tools (such as payment processors, video hosting, or communications platforms). These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. How to Job Group Ltd. is not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of any third-party service.

Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and subject to that service's own terms.

10. Disclaimers

Our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee any particular outcome from use of our services.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, How to Job Group Ltd. and its directors, officers, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, our services — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless How to Job Group Ltd. and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to us, other users, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at legal@howtojob.io. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including Sections 6, 8, 11, 12, and 15.

14. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email or prominent notice on our platform. Your continued use of our services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, unless otherwise required by mandatory applicable law in your place of residence.

Before initiating any formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith through direct negotiation for a period of at least 30 days.
